Description:

AGRIVENTURE OXYFLOU is a highly effective, selective broad-spectrum herbicide used in both pre-emergence and early post-emergence applications. It is primarily used to control tough broadleaf weeds and annual grasses in crops like onions, garlic, rice, tea, cotton, and sugarcane.

Mode of action:

• Enzyme Inhibition: It inhibits the protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) enzyme, which is essential for chlorophyll synthesis and plant growth.
• Oxidative Destruction: In the presence of sunlight, the blocked pathway causes a toxic buildup of compounds that destroy the weed's cell membranes.
• Rapid Desiccation: This membrane breakdown leads to leakage of cell contents, resulting in rapid wilting, drying (desiccation), and the death of the weed.
