AGRIVENTURE PENDI IMAZE is a broad-spectrum, selective herbicide primarily used for weed management in soybean crops. It acts as both a pre-emergent and early post-emergent barrier, effectively controlling grassy weeds, broadleaf weeds, and sedges by inhibiting root growth and vital amino acid synthesis.

Mode of action:

• Pendimethalin (30%): Acts as a mitotic inhibitor. It is absorbed by the roots and foliage, disrupting microtubule assembly to halt cell division and elongation, effectively killing weeds shortly after germination.
• Imazethapyr (2%): Acts as a systemic herbicide. It is absorbed by roots and foliage and translocated to the meristematic regions (growing points), where it inhibits the ALS (acetolactate synthase) enzyme, stopping essential amino acid synthesis.
