AGRIVENTURE PRODIFEN (Propiconazole 13.9% + Difenoconazole 13.9% EC) Fungicide
Description:
AGRIVENTURE PRODIFEN is a broad-spectrum, dual-action systemic fungicide. It is widely used to prevent and cure fungal infections—such as sheath blight, dirty panicle, powdery mildew, and rust—in various crops like paddy (rice), wheat, and fruits.
Technical content: Propiconazole 13.9% + Difenoconazole 13.9% EC
Key Features & Benefits:
- Dual Action: Combines Propiconazole and Difenoconazole, which attack fungi at multiple growth stages to provide superior disease control.
- Systemic Formulation: Quickly absorbed into the plant's vascular system, offering long-lasting, rain-fast protection.
- Triple Efficacy: Acts as a preventative (stops infection before it starts), curative (stops the spread after infection), and eradicative (destroys existing colonies).
- Resistance Management: The combination of two different triazoles actively delays the build-up of fungicide resistance.
- Targeted Crop Protection: Highly effective against Sheath Blight and Dirty Panicle disease in paddy (rice), as well as rusts, blights, and anthracnose in wheat, soybeans, and other crops.
- Enhanced Yield & Quality: Maintains healthier, greener flag leaves longer, boosts the growth of productive tillers, and prevents grain discoloration.
- Cost-Efficiency: Requires a low Dose (typically 1 to 1.5 ml per liter of water), making it a highly economical option per acre.
Crops suitability: Paddy (Rice), Wheat, Soybean, Fruits & Vegetables.
Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases):
- Paddy / Rice: Sheath blight, dirty panicle, and grain discoloration.
- Soybean: Rust, leaf spots (e.g., Cercospora).
- Vegetables (Tomato, Chilli, Brinjal, Okra): Anthracnose, powdery mildew, and blights.
- Fruits & Others (Mango, Grapes, Apple, Cumin): Powdery mildew, rust, and anthracnose.
Mode of entry: Systemic
Mode of action:
- Propiconazole: Interferes with the production of sterols (specifically by inhibiting C14-demethylation), which halts cell membrane formation and restricts fungal spread.
- Difenoconazole: Acts as a specific Sterol Demethylation Inhibitor (DMI). It blocks the fungal pathogen from developing further by fundamentally disabling ergosterol production.
Mode of application: Foliar spray
