AGRIVENTURE MANCOZ (Mancozeb 75% WP) Fungicide

AGRIVENTURE MANCOZ (Mancozeb 75% WP) Fungicide

Description:

AGRIVENTURE MANCOZ is a highly effective, broad-spectrum contact fungicide. Widely used in agriculture, it prevents fungal spore germination on the plant surface and is popular for combating over 25 major diseases, including early/late blight, downy mildew, and rust across various crops.

Technical content: Mancozeb 75% WP)

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Broad-Spectrum Disease Control: Highly effective against fungal diseases across all four major plant pathogen classes, including downy mildew, late/early blight, rust, leaf spots, anthracnose, and scab.
  • Multi-Site Mode of Action: Prevents fungal spore germination by disrupting multiple enzymatic processes. This makes it extremely difficult for fungi to develop resistance, keeping it effective even after decades of use.
  • Nutritional Supplementation: The formulation contains essential micronutrients—Manganese and Zinc—which correct plant deficiencies and promote greener, healthier crop growth.
  • Versatile Application: Suitable for use as a foliar spray, for nursery drenching, or as a seed treatment.
  • Preventative Shield: Acts as a protective barrier on the plant surface, stopping fungi from penetrating plant tissue.
  • Environmentally Safe: It rapidly degrades in soil and water with low leaching potential, making it safe for the surrounding environment and beneficial organisms.

Crops suitability: Wheat, Paddy (Rice), Maize, Groundnut, Soybean, Jowar

Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases):

  • Tomato & Potato: Early blight, Late blight, Leaf spot, Buck eye rot
  • Grapes & Cucurbits: Downy mildew, Anthracnose, Angular leaf spot
  • Wheat & Corn: Brown rust, Black rust, Leaf blight, Downy mildew
  • Paddy (Rice): Blast, Brown spot
  • Chilli: Fruit rot, Leaf spot, Anthracnose, Damping off
  • Groundnut: Tikka leaf spot
  • Apple, Mango & Banana: Scab, Sigatoka, Cigar end rot, Sooty blotch

Mode of entry: Contact

Mode of action:

  • Enzyme Inactivation: When exposed to air, the active ingredient is converted into isothiocyanate. This compound inactivates the crucial sulfhydryl (SH) groups present in the enzymes of the fungal cells.
  • Metal Exchange: Metals are sometimes exchanged between the Mancozeb and the fungal enzymes, causing severe metabolic disturbances.
  • Metabolic Disruption: By blocking these enzymatic functions, it directly disrupts lipid metabolism, respiration, and the production of cellular energy (ATP), leading to the death of the fungus.

Mode of application: Foliar Spray, Foliar Spray, Nursery Drenching / Soil Drenching
