AGRIVENTURE TEBCON GOLD (Tebuconazole 38.39% SC) Fungicide

AGRIVENTURE TEBCON GOLD (Tebuconazole 38.39% SC) Fungicide

Description:

TEBCON GOLD is a highly effective, broad-spectrum systemic fungicide used to control a wide range of fungal diseases (like rusts, blights, and powdery mildew) in crops like wheat, rice, chilli, soybean, and onions. It works both protectively and curatively by inhibiting cell wall formation in fungi.

Technical content: Tebuconazole 38.39% SC

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Triple-Action Control: Acts as a prophylactic (preventive), curative, and eradicative solution. It kills existing infections, prevents new spores from germinating, and inhibits further fungal growth.
  • Systemic Action: Quickly absorbed by the plant's leaves and stems, transporting the chemical internally to provide lasting protection that is not easily washed away by light rain.
  • Target Diseases: Highly effective against a wide array of crop diseases, including Powdery Mildew, Rust (e.g., yellow rust), Alternaria Leaf Spot, Sheath Blight, Fruit Rot, and Anthracnose.
  • Crop Greening Effect: Enhances overall plant vitality by promoting a healthier, greener foliage, which can boost both the yield quantity and the quality of the produce (e.g., removing dirty panicles in rice).
  • Long Residual Protection: Keeps crops protected for roughly 10–14 days following application, which reduces the need for frequent re-spraying.
  • Cost-Effective Dose: Because it is a high-concentration Suspension Concentrate (SC), it generally requires a low Dose (e.g., 250 ml per acre, or roughly 1-2 ml per liter of water), making it highly economical.

Crops suitability: Wheat, Rice (Paddy), Soybean, Groundnut, Sugarcane, Cotton, Chilli, Onion, Cabbage, Brinjal, Okra, Grapes, Pomegranate, Mango, Citrus

Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases):

  • Wheat: Powdery mildew, Yellow rust
  • Rice / Paddy: Sheath blight, False smut, Blast
  • Chilli: Powdery mildew, Fruit rot, Dieback
  • Groundnut: Tikka leaf spot, Rust
  • Onion: Purple blotch
  • Soybean: Anthracnose (Pod blight), Rust
  • Cabbage: Alternaria leaf spot (Leaf blight)

Mode of entry: Systemic

Mode of action:

  • Ergosterol Biosynthesis Inhibition: It acts as a Demethylase Inhibitor (DMI). It stops the fungus from producing ergosterol, which is critical for building and maintaining fungal cell membranes.
  • Disrupts Cell Growth: Without ergosterol, the fungal cell walls weaken, rupturing the cell and entirely halting fungal growth and reproduction.
  • Triple Action: It kills existing infections, prevents new spores from germinating, and halts further fungal sporulation.

Mode of application: Foliar spray
