AGRIVENTURE TEBSULPH (Tebuconazol 10% + Sulphur 65% WG) Fungicide
Description:
AGRIVENTURE TEBSULPH is a powerful, dual-action (systemic and contact) water-dispersible granule fungicide. It is widely used to prevent and cure severe fungal diseases like powdery mildew, rust, and leaf spots across various crops.
Technical content: Tebuconazol 10% + Sulphur 65% WG
Key Features & Benefits:
- Triple Mode of Action: Functions as a systemic, contact, and vapor-action fungicide. Tebuconazole is absorbed rapidly into plant tissues to systematically fight existing infections from the inside, while Sulphur acts as a protective contact and vapor barrier on the leaf surface to stop spores from germinating.
- Broad-Spectrum Disease Control: Highly reliable in treating key fungal threats across crops like chili, soybean, and mango, including: Powdery mildew, Fruit rot and anthracnose, Leaf spots and pod blight, Rust diseases
- Dual Curative & Preventive Control: Can be used preventatively (before symptoms appear) to establish a protective shield, or curatively to eradicate existing fungal growth and stop it from spreading.
- Acts as a Miticide: In addition to fungal pathogens, the high sulphur content provides acaricidal properties, helping control or suppress mites (such as spider mites) on vegetable crops and cotton.
- Phytotonic Effect: Sulphur serves as an essential plant macronutrient. The formulation promotes better crop vigor, improved foliage color, and overall healthier stands.
- Rainfast and Convenient (WG): Formulated as Water Dispersible Granules (WG), it mixes easily in water without forming lumps, leaves no residue, and has a formulation that is highly rainfast, resisting wash-off from light rains.
Crops suitability: Chili, Soybean, Wheat, Rice, Apple, Banana, Mango, Tea, Coffee, Sugarcane, Tomato, Brinjal, Okra
Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases): Powdery Mildew, Fruit Rot / Anthracnose, Rust, Leaf Spot & Pod Blight, Mites (Acaricide)
Mode of entry:
- Systemic Entry (Tebuconazole): Absorbed rapidly through the leaves and stems, and translocated upward (acropetal) within the plant sap. This cures internal infections and provides long-lasting, rain-fast protection.
- Contact Entry (Sulphur): Forms a protective layer on the outer surface of the plant. It inhibits fungal spore germination and destroys the fungal mycelium upon direct physical contact.
- Vapour Action (Sulphur): Sulphur particles sublime (turn into gas), creating a toxic micro-atmosphere around the foliage. This allows the fungicide to reach hidden or hard-to-access plant parts.
Mode of action:
- Tebuconazole (10%): A systemic triazole fungicide that is rapidly absorbed into the plant and translocated upward. It inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis, an essential component of fungal cell walls. This halts fungal growth from the inside and provides curative and eradicative action.
- Sulphur (65%): A contact fungicide and miticide that acts on the plant surface. It interferes with fungal respiration and metabolism, preventing spore germination. Its vapor action allows it to spread within the plant canopy, protecting leaves from contact infection.
