Description:

AGRIVENTURE FEEN is a broad-spectrum, synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It acts via contact and stomach action to quickly knock down chewing, sucking, and boring pests. It is widely used on crops like cotton, vegetables, and fruits.

Mode of entry:

• Contact Action: The insecticide directly touches the pest (or lands on treated foliage/stems that the pest brushes against). It absorbs through the insect's cuticle (exoskeleton), causing a rapid knockdown effect.
• Stomach Action: The pest ingests the chemical while chewing or sucking on treated plants. The chemical then acts directly through the insect's digestive system.

Mode of action:

• Nerve Disruption (Type II Pyrethroid): It interferes with the sodium ion permeability of stimulated nerve membranes in insects. By keeping the sodium channels open, it causes continuous, repetitive nerve impulses.
• Knockdown Effect: This nerve signal disruption results in rapid paralysis, tremors, and eventual death of chewing, sucking, and boring pests.
• Contact & Stomach Action: It eliminates insects upon direct physical contact or when they ingest treated plant surfaces.
