AGRIVENTURE TEBCON (Tebuconazole 25.9% EC) Fungicide
Description:
AGRIVENTURE TEBCON is a broad-spectrum, triazole-based systemic fungicide widely used in agriculture for the preventive and curative control of fungal diseases. It disrupts fungal cell membrane formation, protecting crops like rice, chillies, groundnut, and onions.
Technical content: Tebuconazole 25.9% EC
Key Features & Benefits:
- Systemic Action: Quickly absorbed by plant roots and leaves, it moves upward (acropetally) through the xylem to protect the entire plant from the inside.
- Broad-Spectrum Control: Effectively targets and controls diseases like powdery mildew, rusts, blights (early and late), fruit rot, blast, and sheath blight.
- Prophylactic & Curative: Can be applied before disease symptoms appear (preventive) or after infection has occurred (curative) to stop further fungal spread.
- Phytotonic Effect: Often enhances crop health by promoting greener, lush foliage, improving the overall quality and size of the harvest.
- Long-Lasting Protection: Its residual activity reduces the need for frequent re-applications, making it a cost-effective choice for crop management.
- Versatile Application: Suitable for a wide variety of field crops, including rice, chilli, groundnut, onion, wheat, vegetables, and fruit orchards.
Crops suitability: Rice (Paddy), Chilli, Groundnut, Onion, Soybean, Wheat, Fruits & Vegetables
Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases):
- Rice / Paddy: Sheath Blight and Blast
- Chilli: Fruit Rot and Powdery Mildew
- Groundnut: Tikka Leaf Spot and Rust
- Onion: Purple Blotch
- Soybean: Anthracnose (Pod Blight)
- Black Gram: Leaf Spot and Anthracnose
Mode of entry: Systemic action
Mode of action:
- Demethylase Inhibition (DMI): It acts as a DMI by inhibiting the enzyme 14α-demethylase.
- Sterol Biosynthesis Block: This enzyme inhibition stops the fungi from creating ergosterol, which is a key building block needed to construct fungal cell walls.
- Cell Membrane Rupture: Without ergosterol, the fungus loses structural integrity, disrupting its function and causing the pathogen to stop growing and eventually die.
Mode of application: Foliar spray
