Description:

AGRIVENTURE CYPER MEN is a broad-spectrum combination insecticide. It features an organophosphate and synthetic pyrethroid. Widely used in India for cotton and vegetables, it delivers contact and stomach poisoning to provide a fast knockdown of hard-to-kill bollworms and sucking pests.

• Dual Mode of Action: Attacks the insect’s nervous system through both contact and stomach toxicity. Profenofos inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, while cypermethrin modulates sodium channels, causing rapid paralysis and death.
• Broad-Spectrum Control: Highly effective against a wide variety of pests, particularly the bollworm complex in cotton, as well as sucking pests (aphids, thrips, whiteflies, jassids) and defoliating caterpillars.

Mode of action:

• Profenophos (Organophosphate): Acts as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It disrupts nerve impulses in the insect by blocking the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine. This leads to the overstimulation of the nervous system, causing rapid paralysis and death.
• Cypermethrin (Synthetic Pyrethroid): Acts as a sodium channel modulator. It disrupts nerve cell function by keeping sodium channels open, causing hyperexcitation, convulsions, and a quick knockdown effect.
