Description:

AGRIVENTURE FERN is a fast-acting, contact-action carbamate insecticide. It is highly effective for the "knockdown" and control of sucking and chewing pests—particularly Brown Planthoppers (BPH) and Green Leafhoppers in rice, as well as thrips and aphids in cotton and various vegetables.

Mode of entry:

• Contact Action: The chemical kills insects upon direct physical contact by absorbing through their cuticle (exoskeleton).
• Stomach Action: It enters the insect's digestive system when they feed on treated plant tissues.

Mode of action:

• Enzyme Inhibition: It inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase (AChE) within the pest's nervous system.
• Nerve Disruption: By blocking this enzyme, the neurotransmitter acetylcholine builds up at the nerve synapses.
• Paralysis and Death: This causes continuous, uncontrolled nerve impulse transmissions, which result in rapid paralysis and the eventual death of the insect.

Dose: 2ml per 1 liter water or 30ml in 15-liter water
