AGRIVENTURE FIPRO MECTIN (Emamectin Benzoate 1.5% + Fipronil 3.5% SC) Insecticide
Description:
AGRIVENTURE FIPRO MECTIN is a potent, broad-spectrum dual-action insecticide. It combines the stomach and contact properties of an avermectin with the neurotoxic effects of a phenylpyrazole to kill both chewing pests (caterpillars/fruit borers) and sucking insects (thrips, jassids, and aphids) in a single spray.
Technical content: Emamectin Benzoate 1.5% + Fipronil 3.5% SC
Key Features & Benefits:
- Broad-Spectrum Control: Effectively eliminates a wide range of pests in a single spray, including bollworms, fruit borers, thrips, aphids, jassids, and whiteflies.
- Dual & Systemic Action: The combination attacks pests via contact, ingestion, and systemically. It penetrates the leaves (translaminar action) to reach and eliminate pests hiding on the underside of foliage.
- Quick Knockdown: Caterpillars typically stop feeding within hours of contact, immediately halting visible crop damage.
- Ovicidal & Larvicidal: It targets egg masses and kills larvae immediately after they hatch, preventing subsequent generations from damaging the crop.
- Phytotonic Effect: Enhances plant vigor and metabolism, leading to greener foliage, stronger branching, and higher-quality yields.
- Cost-Effective: By controlling both chewing and sucking pests at once, it reduces the frequency of spray cycles and saves labor costs.
Crops suitability:
- Cash Crops: Cotton and sugarcane.
- Vegetables: Chilli, tomato, okra, brinjal, onion, garlic, and cabbage.
- Fruits & Spices: Citrus, mango, pomegranate, and cumin.
Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases):
AGRIVENTURE FIPRO MECTIN primarily used to control a wide variety of chewing and sucking pests, including thrips, fruit borers, bollworms, aphids, jassids, and whiteflies across multiple cash and vegetable crops.
Mode of entry:
- Contact Action: The chemical is absorbed through the insect's cuticle (outer shell) upon direct contact, rapidly knocking down the pest.
- Stomach Action: When the target pest ingests the treated plant foliage, the active ingredients enter the gut and cause paralysis.
- Systemic Action: The formulation is absorbed into the plant's vascular system, moving through the plant tissues to protect hard-to-reach areas and providing long-lasting residual control.
Mode of action:
AGRIVENTURE FIPRO MECTIN is a broad-spectrum, dual-action insecticide that attacks pests via three routes: contact, stomach, and systemic. It disrupts the insect's nervous system through two distinct chemical groups, leading to rapid paralysis and death.
Mode of application:
AGRIVENTURE FIPRO MECTIN is primarily applied as a foliar spray to control both caterpillars and sucking pests. It can also occasionally be used for soil drenching or seed treatment depending on crop needs.
Dose: 1.3ml – 1.5ml per 1-liter water or 20 ml in 15-liter water
Additional information:
- Safety: Do not spray in or around beehives or active aquatic environments (e.g., fish farms), as it is highly toxic to bees and aquatic life.
- Handling: Always wear protective gear (gloves and goggles) when mixing and applying the concentrate.
