Description:

AGRIVENTURE WHITE RIDER (Soluble Powder) is a broad-spectrum, systemic neonicotinoid insecticide. It is widely used in agriculture to target and eliminate destructive sucking pests like whiteflies, aphids, jassids, and thrips.

Mode of entry:

• Systemic Action: Absorbed through the plant's roots and leaves, the chemical circulates throughout the vascular system (xylem) to new shoots and leaves. This allows it to control hidden or newly arriving pests that suck plant sap.
• Contact Action: The chemical directly affects the insect when the spray touches its body.
• Stomach Poison: Pests also ingest the active ingredient while feeding on the treated plant's sap.

Mode of action:

• Nervous System Disruption: Acts as an agonist to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nACH) in the insect's central nervous system, causing continuous nerve stimulation.
• Systemic & Translaminar Action: The chemical is absorbed rapidly into the plant, moving systemically through the sap and traveling across leaf layers (translaminar) to kill insects hiding on the undersides.
• Contact & Stomach Action: Works immediately upon contact and by ingestion when pests feed on the plant.
