AGRIVENTURE AZOTEBUC (Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC) Fungicide

AGRIVENTURE AZOTEBUC (Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC) Fungicide

Description:

AGRIVENTURE AZOTEBUC is a broad-spectrum, dual-action systemic fungicide. It combines Strobilurin (translaminar) and Triazole (systemic) chemistries to provide preventive, curative, and eradicative control of fungal diseases while improving crop health and yield.

Technical content: Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Dual Mode of Action: Combines Azoxystrobin (inhibits fungal cell respiration) with Tebuconazole (disrupts ergosterol synthesis) to stop fungal growth at multiple stages.
  • Systemic & Translaminar Movement: Rapidly gets absorbed by leaves and moves systemically throughout the plant, protecting both new growth and untreated areas.
  • Resistance Management: The combination of two different chemical groups significantly lowers the chances of fungi developing resistance to the treatment.
  • Long-Lasting Protection: Acts as a strong residual fungicide that offers extended control, reducing the total number of sprays needed per season.
  • Improves Crop Health: Enhances the physiological activity of crops, leading to greener, healthier leaves and better overall yield quality.
  • Broad Spectrum Control: Highly effective against blights (early/late/sheath), powdery mildew, downy mildew, rust, fruit rot, die-back, and purple blotch.

Crops suitability: Rice (Paddy), Wheat, Maize, Chilli, Tomato, Potato, Onion, Okra, Brinjal, Grapes, Apple, Citrus, Pomegranate, Cotton, Tea, Sugarcane, Groundnut, Soybean

Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases):

  • Paddy / Rice: Sheath Blight, Brown Spot, Neck Blast
  • Chilli: Powdery Mildew, Die-back, Fruit Rot
  • Tomato & Potato: Early Blight, Late Blight, Leaf Spot
  • Onion: Purple Blotch, Leaf Blight
  • Wheat: Yellow Rust, Leaf Rust, Stripe Rust
  • Grapes: Powdery Mildew, Downy Mildew, Anthracnose
  • Groundnut: Early and Late Leaf Spot

Mode of entry:

  • Systemic & Translaminar Action: It translocates throughout the plant's vascular system (moving upward) and penetrates leaves to protect untreated areas and new growth.

Mode of action:

1. Azoxystrobin (11%):

  • Fungicidal Action: Belongs to the strobilurin (QoI) chemical group.
  • Process: It disrupts fungal respiration by blocking electron transfer in mitochondria. This halts the production of ATP (energy), causing the fungus to starve and stopping spore germination.

2. Tebuconazole (18.3%):

  • Fungicidal Action: Belongs to the triazole chemical class.
  • Process: It interferes with ergosterol synthesis, which is a key component required to build and maintain the fungal cell membrane. Without a functional membrane, the fungal cell walls collapse.

Mode of application: Foliar spray

Dose: 25 to 30 ml in 15-liter water

Additional information:

  • Timing: Spray during early mornings or late evenings for the best absorption and to avoid high heat.
  • Compatibility: Compatible with most insecticides. However, avoid mixing with strongly alkaline products or copper-based fungicides.
