AGRIVENTURE MYCOMAN PLUS (Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza GR)
Description:
AGRIVENTURE MYCOMAN PLUS (Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza GR (VAM - Granular)) is an eco-friendly biofertilizer containing symbiotic fungi that colonize plant roots to dramatically improve nutrient and water uptake.
Technical content: Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza GR (VAM - Granular)
Key Features & Benefits:
- Nutrient Uptake: Mobilizes and dissolves tightly bound soil nutrients, especially phosphorus, zinc, and sulfur.
- Root Expansion: Increases the effective root surface area significantly, promoting vigorous white root growth and branching.
- Soil Health: Improves overall soil aggregation, water retention, and biological properties.
Crops suitability:
- Cereals & Millets: Rice, wheat, maize, sorghum, and barley.
- Vegetables: Tomatoes, potatoes, onions, carrots, and eggplants.
- Pulses & Oilseeds: Soybeans, chickpeas, lentils, and groundnuts.
- Cash, Fiber & Sugar Crops: Cotton, sugarcane, and tobacco.
- Fruits & Orchards: Citrus, apples, grapes, bananas, and papaya.
- Plantation & Spices: Coffee, tea, cardamom, black pepper, and rubber.
Commonly used for: AGRIVENTURE MYCOMAN PLUS is commonly used for enhancing phosphorus and water absorption, stimulating root growth, and increasing crop yields in sustainable agriculture
Mode of entry: Involves a series of biological steps where the soil-dwelling fungus recognizes, attaches to, and penetrates the host plant's root system:
Mode of action:
- Root Colonization: Fungal spores or propagules in the granules germinate near the roots and penetrate the root cortical cells.
- Specialized Structure Formation: Inside the root, they form arbuscules (branched, tree-like structures for two-way nutrient exchange) and vesicles (sac-like structures for storing lipids and nutrients).
- Hyphal Network Extension: Extraradical hyphae (thread-like fungal filaments) grow out into the soil far beyond regular root hairs, exploring tiny pores and mobilizing immobile nutrients like phosphorus, zinc, and copper.
- Nutrient and Water Exchange: The fungus absorbs water and minerals from the soil and transfers them to the plant in exchange for photosynthetic sugars produced by the host.
- Soil Aggregation: The fungus produces a glycoprotein called glomalin, which improves soil structure, water retention, and aggregation.
Mode of application: Direct Soil Application
