AGRIVENTURE GALAXY - Chelated Mix Micro Nutrients Fertilizer

AGRIVENTURE GALAXY - Chelated Mix Micro Nutrients Fertilizer

Description:

AGRIVENTURE ZINC ETDA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid Zinc) is a water-soluble, chelated micronutrient fertilizer. It binds zinc to prevent it from reacting with soil particles, making it highly available and readily absorbed by plant roots and foliage across a wide range of soil pH levels.

Technical content: Zinc ETDA

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Rapid Nutrient Absorption: The chelated structure prevents zinc from reacting with other soil elements, ensuring immediate availability to plants.
  • Improves Photosynthesis: Stimulates chlorophyll production and carbohydrate synthesis, resulting in lush, green foliage and better energy transfer.
  • Boosts Crop Yield & Quality: Activates crucial enzymes responsible for protein synthesis, seed formation, and even fruit or grain maturity.
  • Promotes Plant Growth: Essential for synthesizing auxins, which are growth-regulating hormones that promote stem elongation and proper flower development.
  • Environmental Stress Defense: Helps maintain cell membrane integrity, which improves the plant's ability to tolerate cold temperatures and saline soils.

Crops suitability:

  • Cereals: Paddy (Rice), Wheat, and Maize.
  • Cash Crops: Cotton, Sugarcane, and Chillies.
  • Fruits: Citrus, Grapes, Mango, and Banana.
  • Vegetables: Potato, Tomato, Onion, Cabbage, and Capsicum.
  • Pulses & Oilseeds: Groundnuts and various other oilseed and pulse crops.

Commonly used for:

AGRIVENTURE CHELATED ZINC fertilizer (typically Zinc EDTA 12%) is designed to deliver highly bioavailable zinc directly to crops. It is used to prevent or correct zinc deficiency—which causes stunted growth and yellowing leaves—and to boost crop yields by stimulating vital plant functions.

Mode of entry: Foliar Absorption & Root Absorption

Mode of action:

1. Protection & Mobility (In Soil)

  • Unchelated zinc quickly binds to soil particles or reacts with phosphates, rendering it insoluble and useless to plants. The EDTA molecule forms a "cage" around the zinc ion (Zn^{2+}). This protects the zinc from premature precipitation, allowing it to remain freely mobile and available for absorption.

2. Rapid Plant Absorption

  • Because of its small, stable, and water-soluble structure, Zinc EDTA is readily absorbed through plant roots (via the soil) and the pores of leaves (via foliar spray). Once inside, it translocates through the plant's vascular system much faster than non-chelated zinc sources.

3. Physiological Action (Inside the Plant)

Once delivered to plant cells, the zinc is released to drive vital biological processes:

  • Enzyme Activation: Zinc is a vital component of numerous enzyme systems that regulate metabolic activity, including those that manage carbon dioxide and water equilibrium.
  • Protein Synthesis: It acts as a catalyst for the synthesis of tryptophan, which is the precursor to the growth hormone Indole-3-Acetic Acid (IAA), promoting healthy stem elongation and root development.
  • Photosynthesis: Zinc is directly involved in chlorophyll formation, which allows the plant to efficiently convert sunlight into energy.
