AGRIVENTURE KASHER PLUS (Paclobutrazol 40% SC) PGR
Description:
AGRIVENTURE KASHER PLUS is a potent plant growth regulator that inhibits gibberellin synthesis. By blocking this hormone, it restricts excessive vegetative growth, redirects energy toward reproductive development, strengthens stems, and significantly enhances flowering, fruit set, and overall crop yield.
Technical content: Paclobutrazol 40% SC
Key Features & Benefits:
- Restricts Shoot Elongation: It prevents unwanted, excessive foliage growth, resulting in a more compact and sturdy plant structure.
- Boosts Flowering: By redirecting nutrients, it promotes early, uniform, and intense flowering (highly effective for breaking irregular bearing in crops like mangoes).
- Improves Fruit Quality: Aids in developing better fruit size, color, and weight while increasing the overall marketable yield.
- Enhances Root Development: Stimulates stronger root systems, which allows for better and more efficient water and nutrient absorption.
- Increases Stress Tolerance: Strengthens the plant's natural resistance against environmental extremes, moisture stress, and wind damage.
- Prevents Lodging: In cereal crops (like paddy), the dwarfing effect thickens stems and prevents the crop from falling over during heavy winds or rains.
- Systemic Efficacy: The Suspension Concentrate (SC) formulation allows for easy mixing and systemic uptake through the leaves or roots for long-lasting effects.
Crops suitability: Mango, Apple, Citrus, Grapes, Litchi, Pomegranate, Red Gram (Tur), Cotton, Paddy
Commonly used for:
AGRIVENTURE KASHER PLUS is a systemic Plant Growth Regulator (PGR) that controls excessive vegetative growth and redirects the plant's energy toward flowering, fruiting, and root development. It achieves this by inhibiting the synthesis of gibberellin, a hormone responsible for cell and stem elongation.
Mode of entry: Systemic
Mode of action:
- Inhibits Gibberellin Biosynthesis: It blocks the production of gibberellins, the natural plant hormones responsible for cell elongation and internode growth. By inhibiting enzymes like kaurene oxidase, it stops rapid, excessive vegetative growth.
- Reduces Stem Elongation: With gibberellin levels lowered, stem lengths and internodes shorten, resulting in a more compact, sturdy, and dwarfed plant structure.
- Redirects Plant Resources: By checking excessive foliage growth, the plant's energy and assimilates are redirected (channeled) away from producing leaves and stems toward reproductive organs.
- Boosts Flowering and Fruit Setting: This redistribution of resources promotes early and abundant flowering, enhances fruit set, and helps reduce flower or fruit drop.
- Hormonal Balance & Root Development: It alters the isoprenoid pathway, thereby raising natural cytokinin levels while decreasing stem-elongating hormones, which further promotes stronger root systems and enhanced stress tolerance.
Mode of application: Foliar Spray or Soil Drenching
Dose: 5ml in 15-liter water
Additional information:
1. For Mango Trees
- Ideal Timing: Apply 2 to 3 months after fruit harvest, before new shoot flushes and flower initiation begin. In India, this optimal window typically falls between July and September.
- Frequency: Once a year.
2. For Field Crops
- Ideal Timing: Apply during the flowering stage to regulate vegetative growth, prevent lodging (falling over), and promote higher pod yields.
