AGRIVENTURE DINOPY (Dinotefuron 15% + Pymetrozine 45% WG) Insecticide
Description:
AGRIVENTURE DINOPY is a highly effective, dual-action, broad-spectrum systemic insecticide. It works via contact and translaminar action to knock down adults and immediately stop pests from feeding, providing long-lasting protection.
Technical content: Dinotefuron 15% + Pymetrozine 45% WG
Key Features & Benefits:
- Dual Mode of Action:
- Dinotefuran attacks the insect's central nervous system, causing immediate paralysis and a rapid knockdown.
- Pymetrozine immediately paralyzes the insect's mouthparts, starving them and preventing them from inserting their stylus into plant tissues.
- Long Residual Action: Provides extended, long-lasting protection, preventing pest populations from recovering quickly.
- Translaminar & Systemic Movement: The Water Dispersible Granule (WG) formulation is easily absorbed and moves throughout the plant tissues, protecting even newly grown leaves and hard-to-reach areas.
- Safeguards Beneficial Insects: Selectively targets damaging sap-sucking pests while generally being safe for beneficial organisms and pollinators when used correctly.
- Improves Crop Health & Yield: By instantly halting feeding, it prevents crop damage and egg-laying, ensuring vibrant, healthy tillers and maximum productivity.
- Cost-Effective: Its residual strength helps reduce overall spray frequency and re-application rates.
Crops suitability: Paddy (Rice), Cotton, Chilli, Tea, Tomato, Brinjal, and various citrus or vegetable crops.
Commonly used for (Insect / Diseases): Brown Plant Hopper (BPH), White Backed Plant Hopper (WBPH), Green Leaf Hopper, Rice Earhead Bug, Aphids, Jassids, and Whiteflies.
Mode of entry: Contact and Translaminar
Mode of action:
- Dinotefuran (15%): A neonicotinoid that acts on the insect's central nervous system. It inhibits nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, causing rapid paralysis, knockdown, and eventual death.
- Pymetrozine (45%): Belongs to the pyridine azomethine class and serves as an aphid/homoptera feeding blocker. It breaks the nerve signals required for the insect to insert its stylet and feed. Pests stop feeding almost immediately and die of starvation within a few days.
Mode of application: Foliar spray
Dose (Per liter and per acre): 13 gm in 15-liter water or 100 to 133 gm per acre
Additional information:
- Application Time: Spray during early morning or late evening. Avoid spraying when the crop is wet from dew or if rain is expected within 2 to 3 hours.
- Resistance Breaker: Highly effective on hopper populations that have grown immune to older chemicals.
